Leopold Bros Apple Bottling Note
Produced by the renowned Leopold Bros, this delicious whiskey liqueur is flavoured with a wide range of apples, from Golden Delicious to rare Macoun apples. The apples are allowed to become almost overripe before juicing and blending with whiskey. The blend is then aged in bourbon barrels. The result was awarded 89 points by The Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago.

Nose: Rich spice and sultanas, baked apples and apple jam. Hints of spice, custard apple and vanilla.

Palate: A delicious mix of tangy fruit with hints of charred oak. Apple jam and vanilla. A little honey, toffee and mixed spice.

Finish: Long, creamy, spicy finish.

Overall: Wonderfully fresh-tasting, with lots of character from the bourbon barrels.
