Ron Brugal Añejo Reserva has been being produced in the Dominican Republic since 1952. A family business, this sugarcane rum was crafted following traditional methods. The juice was extracted from the sugarcanes, transformed into molasse, diluted with water, fermented in big vats and finally distilled in columns.

The resulting white rum was aged for a period of 5 years in oak barrels prior to its bottling.

Ron Brugal Añejo Reserva, by the Brugal Distillery, has a clean, bright amber colour. It smells of chocolate, oak, vanilla and spices. The palate of this Dominican rum is smooth, with mild tannins and some remembrances of honey, caramel and spices.
